Alexander County Gun Club is comprised of three farms. On what were formerly know as The Holliday and Sunset Goose Clubs, we have 215 acres of first-rate goose hunting. Crops are typically corn-soybeans-milo with some standing corn and roughly 60 acres of winter wheat to enhance the goose hunting. We have constructed levees around these two farms and installed a well so that we can flood upwards of 80 acres during the waterfowl season.

RockyAdjoining Holliday and Sunset to the north and east is the 680 acres "Fish Farm". The "Fish Farm" has been enrolled in the Wetlands Reserve Program. This farm has historically been a mecca for waterfowl, sometimes holding hundreds of thousands of ducks and geese. We are currently building levees around the entire farm and plan to install two additional wells so that we can put water on the farm when and where we want to. We've planted oak and cypress trees on roughly 400 acres of this farm. Leaving 280 acres in moist soil, natural vegetation, and food plots.

Additionally, Mike Renaud, who farms Holliday and Sunset and is part owner of the "Fish Farm", owns and operates another 280 acre club adjacent to Sunset and the "Fish Farm". Mike and I therefore own 1175 contiguous acres which insulates us to a degree from having to many neighbors who may not share our philosophy of controlling and maintaining a quality hunting environment.
